But I guess I should talk about the deviation just a bit.
made the original back ground there, then I modified it. The small green and yellow text is from the MUGEN engine, so it kind of needs to be there.
But I did the rest of it myself. It's not fully pixel art, since the text is stuff I modified by hand in Jasc 8 (the gem and lines where done by hand in MS Paint though).
